The ummi.mg website, the member space at espace.ummi.mg and the Ummi apps are published by Ummi Madagascar, Union des Mouballighs Malagasy Ithna Anshari, a religious and social organisation bringing together the Ithna-ashari Mouballighs of Madagascar. Contact: through the Union's Facebook page (moubalighina.ummi) or the member space.

Design and development

ITDevSuccess (itdevsuccess.com). The site's source code is published under an open licence and contributions are welcome.

Hosting

• The ummi.mg website is a static site hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States.
• The member space at espace.ummi.mg is hosted in Madagascar by Tranokala™, a subsidiary of 3AS Company® (NIF 2004034313, STAT 62011 11 2020 0 10465).
• The apps are distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play.

Fiqh

The rules coded in the calculators follow the Ja'fari school; the reference Marja' is Sayyid Ali al-Sistani. The classical Sunni rules remain available in the inheritance calculator. Sources are stated on each tool.
